Waste Collection

ALTERNATIVE COMMUNITY WASTE COLLECTION

RESIDENTS in flood impacted areas along the River will be happy to hear regular waste collection services have returned to normal in most areas.
Alternative waste collection points were put in place for residents affected by road closures and weight limits.
Affected residents can take their bins to the nearest dry point on the collection route or take their household waste to community waste collection points provided.
The only remaining community waste collection point is:
* Toora
- Corner of Toora Road and Dean Jaensch Road

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is committed to the State Government’s Towards Zero Waste targets for garbage reduction to landfill and as such, offers residents a two (Rural) or three (Township) bin kerbside collection service.

The service incorporates a weekly domestic garbage collection and an alternating fortnightly recycling and green organics collections.

While life is looking a little different right now, our waste and recycling drivers are still here for you. But with lots more people home, and extra cars parked, they need a hand. Help your driver out:

✔️Place your bins in your driveway if there’s lots of cars parked in the street

✔️Keep your bins 1m away from parked cars, trees, stobie poles etc.

✔️Space bins 30cm apart

✔️If you’re parking in a street, be aware of waste collection and park away from bins

Please ensure your bin is out by 6am on the day of collection and if it is not collected by the end of the day, please contact Solo to report your bin being missed by email at adelaide.ops@solo.com.au or phone 8295 5077.
