A new planning system is now in place across South Australia.

The new system is the result of a comprehensive review and overhaul of the Planning System across the State by the South Australian Government. The process commenced in 2013 with the establishment of the Expert Panel on Planning Reform, followed by the establishment of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016, and culminating in the staged rollout of the reforms finishing with the implementation of Phase 3 on Friday 19 March 2021.

As of the 19 March 2021 all development and building applications must be lodged through the online PlanSA Portal.

This new system is fully electronic, providing online development assessment and processing via a modern ePlanning platform.

Everyone living / working or proposing development within the Rural City of Murray Bridge can submit and track development applications from the comfort of their home, office of whilst on the go using their computer or mobile.

Clear and consistent planning policies, relevant to your area, are now easily accessible by all to help shape your community, both now and into the future.

To lodge your application visit PlanSA at www.plan.sa.gov.au and click on Lodge An Application within the Development Applications menu. From here you will be able to create an online account to lodge your development application online.
