The Rural City of Murray Bridge has many sporting facilities and is the regional centre for many Murraylands competitions. There is a wide variety of sports provided for in Murray Bridge including football, netball, cricket, basketball and tennis; but we also cater for less known sports of carriage driving, rifle clubs, go karting and equestrian events.

Jewel in the Crown

Sturt Reserve is the jewel in our crown. It is the central focal point of Murray Bridge and many events and activities are held here. This reserve hosts a range of major events such as; Australian International Pedal Prix, SPLASH Family Festival, and the Annual Christmas Pageant. The reserve caters for all ages and interests with restaurants and cafes, boat house moorings, a trail network and outdoor fitness equipment. It is home to the youth hub which includes a state of the art skate park, the bunyip, a rage cage for multiple sports; 90m pump track and a shaded undercover playground. All these combined creates a perfect place to relax over a cup of coffee or kick the footy with the kids.
