Tenders & Contracts

Following Councils Procurement policy, the Rural City of Murray Bridge may engage with preapproved suppliers or approach the market to tender for goods and services required for projects/works.

Contracts and Preapproved suppliers

Becoming a preapproved supplier for council offers a range of business advantages. It provides access to tender and quotation opportunities without the need to repeatedly demonstrate capability for every procurement process. Preapproval also enhances business credibility, as it confirms that the supplier has met the council's standards for quality, safety, compliance, and financial stability.

A preapproved supplier can develop long-term working relationships with council, leading to repeat business and greater certainty of future work. The streamlined procurement process reduces administrative effort, allowing projects to commence more quickly and efficiently. In addition, working with local council can strengthen a company's reputation, increase visibility within the community, and create opportunities to expand into other government or public sector contracts.

To become a preapproved supplier, contact procurement@murraybridge.sa.gov.au to request an application form.

Please note that being a preapproved supplier does not guarantee, commit or create a legal obligation to purchase goods or services from the supplier.

Tenders

The Rural City of Murray Bridge will lodge any requests for tender through the SA Tenders and Contracts website. It is recommended that prospective applicants be registered with SA Tenders so they can be notified of any available opportunities.
