The Engineering Design Guidelines (EDG) have been developed by the Rural City of Murray Bridge (RCMB) to support the delivery of high-quality infrastructure and public spaces that meet the needs of both current and future communities.
These guidelines aim to:
- Support a thriving, vibrant, and sustainable community by guiding the development of a well-connected and accessible public realm.
- Provide best practice methodologies for the design, construction, management, and sustainability of infrastructure across residential, commercial, and industrial developments—whether part of large subdivisions or individual allotments.
- Assist residents, developers and consultants in meeting RCMB's expectations for infrastructure works, ensuring consistency in design, specification, and construction standards.
- Maintain a consistent quality management framework that enables effective collaboration between RCMB and the development sector.
