Ovals and Sportsgrounds
Council manages a range of ovals and sportsgrounds that are used by local sporting clubs under lease/licence arrangements. These ovals and sportsgrounds can be hired for sporting, recreational and event activity outside of regular scheduled sporting club fixtures.
If you would like to book an oval or sportsground for regular sporting or recreational activity you can do this online via the Space-to-Co platform by following the links below:
If you would like to hold an event on a Council oval or sportsground you will need to complete an Event Application Form to submit your request. Council must receive this a minimum of 30 days prior to the event.
Examples of events include school sports days, fairs and community events that that meet any of the following criteria:
- Over 100 people attending
- Includes event infrastructure - marquees, staging, vehicles, temporary food vendors etc
- Requires services from Council - bins, irrigation line marking etc
Please note that access to clubrooms and other club facilities must be negotiated directly with the relevant club.

Fees
Hire charges are applied in accordance with Council's Schedule of Fees & Charges.
