PLEASE NOTE change of location to the Local Government Centre 2 Seventh Street, Murray Bridge.
The Rural City of Murray Bridge supports the health and wellbeing of the community by providing a safe, accessible and cost-effective Immunisation Service in order to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. All vaccines funded under the “National Immunisation Program” are free to Medicare card holders.
2020 Free Clinics
In partnership with Pop-Up Medics, a public drop in clinic is held between 2pm and 4pm on the first Friday of each month at the Murray Bridge Library, Level 2 Murray Bridge Marketplace, 51 South Terrace, Murray Bridge. Free childhood vaccines (from 0 – 5 years) are accessible at this clinic along with all listed vaccines on the National Immunisation Program Register. If your child is attending Council’s clinic and is under the age of 16 years, they must be accompanied by an adult and their parent/legal guardian must consent to the vaccines(s) in writing using our childhood schedule consent form. Immunisation will only proceed if we are sure we have valid and informed consent.
If you or your children are looking for immunisation records for Council run clinics (including high school clinics), you can either:
- Search your child's history through the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) which can be accessed through the Medicare online account through your MyGov account; or
- contact the Rural City of Murray Bridge on 8539 1100
Records can be requested via email from Council. Please ensure your full name, date of birth and high school is provided.
