Field Officer - Civil Maintenance

Council is embracing its position as a growth area and is focused on creating thriving and connected communities. We are therefore looking for an experienced Civil Maintenance Field Officer to help support this growth in a full time position.

Position Overview

The Field Officer will play a crucial role in keeping with civil maintenance demands across the council district, some of the tasks will include,

  • Sealed road maintenance
  • Kerb maintenance
  • Footpath maintenance
  • Sign maintenance

Qualifications

Experience in civil construction is an advantage

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Leader – Infrastructure Operations, responsibilities of the position include:

  • Participate in a range of construction maintenance and construction activities
  • Operate ride-on and self-propelled plant

The successful applicant will demonstrate high level skills in communication, customer service, time management, problem solving along with the ability to work as part of a team.

The position is offered as full time employment in accordance with the Local Government Employees Award and Council’s current Enterprise Agreement within an annual salary range of $73,587 to 75,322 dependent upon skills, knowledge and experience.
