International Day of People with a DisAbility Celebration 2023

International Day of People with Disability is held each year on the first Friday of December.

Council will be celebrating the International Day of People with Disability on Friday 1 December. Join us to celebrate at Sturt Reserve from 10.00am – 1.00pm.

You can enjoy a variety of accessible activities along with a light lunch. Attendees will be in with a chance to win $250 gift card on the day of the event. To be eligible to win, attendees must be present at the time of the draw at 12.30pm.

Everyone is invited to come along and enjoy this free and inclusive event.

One in five people, or 4.4 million Australians, have a disability. We all have a role to play to ensure people with disability have the same opportunities as others to reach their full potential.

Council plans to make sure people with a disability feel welcome and can join in what we do. You can find a copy of the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan on the RCMB website
