Lerwin is an 80 bed residential aged care facility owned and operated by the Rural City of Murray Bridge that has been serving the local community and surrounding areas for nearly 40 years.

We are currently recruiting for an Enrolled Nurse to join our passionate and committed team in a part-time ongoing position.

Position Overview

The Enrolled Nurse will working in partnership with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses will deliver holistic resident focused nursing care while guiding Personal Care Assistants. In providing a personalised continuum of nursing & lifestyle care, Enrolled Nurses will implement & check care plans, monitor results, keep careful records & ensure comprehensive shift handovers.

The Enrolled Nurse delivers a standard of care which meets or exceeds the expectations of residents and their families or representatives.

• Leadership and guidance
• Clinical Practice
• Systems Support
• Aged Care Funding Instruments (ACFI)
• Work Health & Safety

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
• General nursing experience, post-registration

And will be able to provide evidence of:

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
• Current National Police Check
• Covid Vaccination (min 3)
• Seasonal Influenza

Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Work Health and Safety or Business Administration or equivalent experience are essential for this role.

The position is offered as a part time, ongoing position in accordance with the Nurses South Australian Local Government Sector Award and Lerwin Nursing Home & ANMF Enterprise Agreement, with an hourly rate between $33.34-$37.36.
