Companion Card affiliation
About the Companion Card
The Companion Card is a national program that helps people with a significant and permanent disability to participate in community life. When a cardholder buys a ticket at a participating venue or activity, their companion or carer is provided a second ticket at no charge.
Council affiliation
The Rural City of Murray Bridge is an official Companion Card affiliate. This supports our commitment to equitable access, inclusion and community participation for all members of our community.
If you hold a Companion Card, your companion or carer is eligible for free entry at any Council-led event held at our venues, including:
Murray Bridge Swimming Centre
Performing Arts + Function Centre
Murray Bridge Regional Gallery
Murraylands Skills Centre
The Round House
The Station
Third-party hirers
Many events at our venues are delivered by external organisers. We actively encourage third-party hirers to recognise the Companion Card, however acceptance cannot be guaranteed for all third-party events. Please check event details or contact the organiser before purchasing.
How to use your card at our events
- Bring your valid Companion Card to the event
- If pre-booking, note that you are a Companion Card holder and request a companion ticket
- Present your card at entry or collection as requested by event staff
