Image Electric Charge Station

Going green has paid off for electric car drivers who can now recharge for free at the Murray Bridge Local Government Centre.
The Council has installed a new 22kW electric vehicle charge station that can charge up to four cars at a time, 24 hours a day.

A solar system installed on the Local Government Centre roof allows Council to supply access to the electric charging station for free.
The electric car charge points demonstrate Council’s commitment to the environment by reducing our carbon emissions and increasing the use of renewable energy sources.
This facility located close to the central business district will allow residents and visitors to the region to spend time exploring the precinct, shopping or dining, while their vehicle is being charged.

The electric charge points are located at the Local Government Centre carpark at 2 Seventh Street Murray Bridge.

The generic chargers are fitted with a type 2 charging socket suitable for all electric vehicles.
