The current perimeter fencing will be renewed to ensure it meets required standards.
Work is expected to take three weeks. Please note, the dog park will be closed to the public while these works are underway. The closure is only temporary – and we’ll be welcoming back our four-legged friends and their owners when the new fence is complete.
Work is scheduled to begin on 28 April 2025, and expected to be complete by mid-May.
In the meantime, Council has nearby dog parks available for off-leash excercise at:
- White Park
- Johnstone Park
- Kuchel Park.
Adverse weather can delay any scheduled works. We will keep you updated of any changes to the works schedule that may impact the reopening date.
