For one night only the Park will be alive with an exciting mix of fire and light themed performances, installations and entertainment.
Ngarrindinjeri elder Uncle Moogy Sumner will begin the evening with a Welcome and Smoking Ceremony.
The event will provide an atmosphere that will entice visitors to gather around a cosy fire, dance at the disco and delight in the live entertainment, including the Tal-Kin-Jeri dance group, The Bait Fridge performance collective, fire artists, fire trees, music, horse and carriage rides and Silent Disco.
Food and beverages will be available at the event and visitors may also find something to tempt their tastes from nearby food businesses.
Diamond Park has in the past been a site for a number of successful events and with the reconstruction underway of the lower wharf at Sturt Reserve, an alternative site for the event was required.
Glows at Diamond Park also provides an opportunity to activate the CBD through direct involvement of Bridge Street food businesses. More information will be released soon.
