UPDATE: EVENT CANCELLED
Observed worldwide as a United Nations (UN) day, IDPwD promotes awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disabilities. In Australia, this day unites government bodies, schools, organisations, businesses and individuals to foster a more inclusive society for the 5.5 million Australians living with a disability.
The celebration will begin with a Welcome to Country ceremony at 10.00am, setting the stage for a day filled with engaging and accessible activities, including sailing, TADSA adaptive bikes, face painting, a petting zoo, a range of inclusive sports, the Mission Australia quiet zone, silent disco and a visit from Santa!
Guests can also enjoy a complimentary healthy BBQ lunch. As an added bonus, one lucky attendee will win a $250 gift card, with the draw scheduled for approximately 12 noon (must be present to win).
