RURAL City of Murray Bridge is happy to announce the latest round of the Council Grants Program, inviting community groups, organisations and clubs with visionary projects to apply for funding opportunities that will make a positive impact in our community.

Funding opportunities are offered twice a year and community groups are encouraged to apply for the current round of the Council Grants Program closing at 4.45pm on Friday 1 September 2023.

A range of grant categories are available, tailored to support a wide array of community-benefiting projects, including:

* Community Grants

* Sport & Recreation Facility Grants

* Environmental & Climate Change Grants

* Youth at Risk Grants

* Riverfront Activation Grants

Some grants are capped at $5,000 each, on a matching dollar-for-dollar or in-kind basis. Please check specific criteria pertaining to the funding you are applying for. Applicants must be incorporated or have the support of a suitable incorporated body to receive funds on the applicant’s behalf. Previous grant recipients must acquit their last grant before applying for another.

An information session for prospective applicants to gather information, ask questions and discuss opportunities for grant funding, will be held on Wednesday 16 August from 2pm – 3pm in the upstairs meeting room of the Performing Arts and Function Centre (Town Hall).

To attend the information session please RSVP by Monday 14 August to Simone Zrna on 8539 1182 or email s.zrna@murraybridge.sa.gov.au.
