Community Care Services are available to all Murray Bridge residents over the age of 65.
Community Care is able to provide a range of services to support older people in the Rural City of Murray Bridge Council area.
Domestic Assistance
House cleaning.
Changing bed linen and making beds.
Hanging out washing/ironing.
Home Maintenance
Changing light globes and batteries in smoke alarms.
Washing windows.
Cleaning gutters.
Minor plumbing.
General repairs.
Gardening Assistance
This service is available once a year or as funding allows.
Trimming back trees and shrubs
Drought proofing gardens
Weeding and lawn mowing
Home Modifications
Community Care offers help with home modifications following assessment by an Occupational Therapist.
All home modifications are installed in line with Australian Building Standards.
Installation of grab rails.
Verandah railings.
Ramps.
Respite
Community Care can offer in home respite with a respite worker.
This valuable service provides carers with a break from their caring role.
