Burial positions are available in both the general and lawn sections. Rose garden positions are also available.
No specific plot can be allocated - the next available plot is allocated at the time of interment.
Callington Cemetery:
Burial positions are available in the general section.
No specific plot can be allocated - the next available plot is allocated at the time of interment.
Murray Bridge Cemetery:
The Murray Bridge Cemetery has no vacant burial plots. Please refer to Bremer Road Cemetery for current burials.
Monarto Pioneer Memorial Cemetery:
Burial positions are available in the general section. No specific plot can be allocated - the next available plot is allocated at the time of interment.
Leases
Bremer Road Cemetery:
Leases are for 99 years.
A lease for a plot can be taken out at any time for Bremer Road Cemetery.
Callington Cemetery:
Leases are for 99 years. Council has no intention at this stage to seek renewal of leases, however this will be up to the Council of the day in the future.
A lease for a plot can be taken out at any time for Callington Cemetery.
Murray Bridge Cemetery:
Leases are for 99 years.
Council has not seen the need to re-issue expired leases (or re-use sites) due to the establishment of the Bremer Road Cemetery in 1989.
Monarto Pioneer Memorial Cemetery:
Leases are for 99 years.
A lease for a plot can be taken out at any time for Monarto Pioneer Memorial Cemetery.
Ashes
Bremer Road Cemetery:
Ashes can be placed in any plot.
Ashes placements in rose gardens and granite columbarium: Price includes a bronze plaque (149 x 111 mm). Nine lines of wording can be placed on the plaque. The Name line is up to 16 Characters long (including spaces) and all other lines are up to 24 characters long (including spaces).
Callington Cemetery:
Ashes can be placed in any plot.
Murray Bridge Cemetery:
Ashes can be placed in any plot.
For cremations there are rose garden positions available (in C & D positions - refer to the Murray Bridge Cemetery Map via Related Link on the right of this page). For cremations there are also positions available in the granite columbarium and RSL Beam.
