PUBLIC consultation is now open for the Draft Community Land Management Plan Wildens Way.

PUBLIC consultation is now open for the Draft Community Land Management Plan Wildens Way.

Rural City of Murray Bridge Chief Executive Officer Michael Sedgman said the Council owned land was dedicated as community land in 2007 and needed a management plan to ensure future use was protected in-line with community expectations.

“Council has developed a Draft Community Land Management Plan for Wildens Way to achieve that goal,” he said.

“This popular riverside playground already gets quite busy in the summer with locals and visitors alike.

“Extending the open space would create an opportunity to significantly increase access to the river.”

Copies of the draft plan and the opportunity to provide feedback are available at the Local Government Centre, Murray Bridge Library and online at letstalk.murraybridge.sa.gov.au/CLMPA12wildensway

Consultation closes 3pm Friday 27 March 2020.
