Local residents are being asked to provide feedback on the draft fees and charges schedule ahead of the launch of the Co-working Business Hub in Murray Bridge.

The Hub will be strategically placed in a central location in the Murray Bridge CBD, providing local business owners access to a range of multi- faceted services from industry experts, stronger links to Council, networking opportunities and a space to use professional – shared facilities, including after- hours access.

The establishment of the Co-Working Business Hub will offer a dedicated space equipped with facilities and services to bolster businesses, enterprises and aspiring entrepreneurs. This project will support and promote economic development within the Council area.

The proposed schedule for fees and charges was drafted in line with similar facilities across the State and is now open for consultation on Council's consultation portal letstalk.sa.gov.au.

This project not only aims to increase economic activity and foot traffic in the CBD but also strives to expose the community to a wider range of services. Moreover, the Hub will provide an abundance of resources, such as training opportunities and career guidance. Additionally, it will serve as a convenient location for residents to have in-person interactions with Council employees on Bridge Street.

Heather Barclay, Chief Executive Officer of the Rural City of Murray Bridge, is confident that the Co-Working Business Hub will assist local businesses to thrive.

Consultation opens today.

The proposed Murray Bridge Co – Working Business Hub fees and charges schedule and feedback forms are available on Council’s consultation portal letstalk.sa.gov.au and paper copies can be found at the Local Government Centre and the Murray Bridge Library.

The consultation closes 3pm Wednesday 9 August 2023.
