RCMB Annual Report 2024 - 2025
Council is proud to release the Annual Report 2024–25, highlighting a year shaped by growth, capital renewal and community connection.
Throughout last year, growth continued to influence Council’s work with a strong focus on financial sustainability and the delivery of core services to the community.
Key achievements include the completion of the $5 million Lower Timber Wharf replacement, delivery of major community events such as Murray Bridge Glows + New Year’s Eve and ongoing investment in vital services and facilities.
Council also worked closely with developers at Gifford Hill, supporting progress toward the release of new allotments expected in 2026. Community programs made a real impact with 3,000 native plants distributed, more than 60 youth programs delivered, 124 children participating in water safety lessons, over 300 seniors supported to live independently and 215 volunteers contributing their time.
We are focused on preparing for the growth of our rural city and the Annual Report 2024–25 reflects Council’s achievements towards building a growing, thriving and strong Murray Bridge while demonstrating transparency and accountability.
