The Rural City of Murray Bridge continues to make strides in enhancing local services and infrastructure.

Key highlights from Quarter 2 (October – December 2024) include;

  • Public Toilet Upgrades – The Edwards Square toilet upgrade is complete
  • Sustainability Efforts – 48,880 kW of energy was generated at Lerwin Residential Care and 35,973 kW at the Local Government Centre.
  • Library Engagement – 11,793 visitors enjoyed the Library, borrowing 20,108 physical items and downloading 7,862 digital resources.
  • Community Support – Volunteers dedicated 5,363 hours to local initiatives, valued at $254,099.
  • Cleaner Spaces – 80.5 hours were spent on graffiti removal, helping keep public areas vibrant and welcoming.

Council remains focused on preparing for the growth of our Rural City. We are committed to financial sustainability and providing value and quality services to our community.
