Q1 Progress Report – 2025 2026

During the first quarter of 2025–26, Council delivered new infrastructure, supported major community programs, and welcomed thousands of residents and visitors to events and facilities as we continue to support our community to be growing, thriving and strong.

Our community continued to engage strongly with Council facilities. The Murray Bridge Regional Gallery welcomed 1,516 visitors, the Murray Bridge Library saw 13,416 in-person visits and more than 2,000 people attended Performing Arts + Function Centre activities.

Council also delivered upgrades across the district, including repair works to the Swimming Centre water park ahead of the 2025–26 season, new BBQs at Sturt Reserve, the completed fence renewal at the White Park Dog Park and irrigation design for the Swanport Road Masterplan. Work also progressed on major road renewals, with Boundary Road completed and upgrades underway at Lovely Banks Road and Toora Road.

Volunteers continued to play a vital role in supporting our community, contributing work valued at $301,637 through a range of programs and services.

Other Quarter 1 highlights included the successful Murray Bridge Glows event with more than 2,000 attendees, continued course bookings and service delivery at the Murraylands Skills Centre, key road and public space upgrades and strong environmental results across waste, recycling and solar generation.

With strong progress across every portfolio, Quarter 1 has laid a solid foundation for the year ahead. Read the full Progress Report here.
