PAWGUST Returns this August!

Dog owners are encouraged to lace up their walking shoes and join the PAWGUST challenge this August, raising funds for Guide Dogs Australia and New Zealand while spending quality time with their four-legged companions.

PAWGUST participants can choose to walk 60km, 100km, 150km or 200km throughout August, helping to support life-changing Guide Dogs services for people living with low vision or blindness.

Whether you're hitting local trails, exploring your neighbourhood or enjoying a daily stroll through one of our region's parks and reserves, PAWGUST is a great way to stay active, connect with your pet, and support a worthy cause.

As you prepare for PAWGUST, it's also a timely reminder that dog and cat registrations are due by 31 August 2026. Keeping your pet registered helps support responsible pet ownership and ensures your details can be quickly identified if your furry friend ever goes missing.
