Native Plant Giveaway – Celebrating 5 Years!
Join us for the Rural City of Murray Bridge’s Annual Native Plant Giveaway, now in its fifth year.
Over the past five years, more than 12,000 plants have been given away to local residents, helping to support biodiversity, save water and create habitats for native wildlife.
This year, 3,000 native tube stock plants will be available, with a wide variety including:
- Trees
- Shrubs
- Bush foods
- Groundcovers
- Grasses
Special focus for 2026: Potted Habitats
Perfect for small spaces, renters or anyone wanting to create a mini pollinator haven at home, potted habitats are a great option. Our Biodiversity volunteers will be on hand to share tips and answer your questions.
Plant Allocation
- Properties under 500m² – 5 plants
- Properties over 500m² – 10 plants
Available while stocks last. Proof of address is required.
All plants have been propagated by our dedicated Community Nursery volunteers – from seed collection through to planting and care.
