The Murraylands Christmas Appeal is again supporting those who are in need in our community. Council is supporting the efforts of ac.care, St.Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies) and the Salvation Army seeking donations of food and toys for local families this Christmas.

Support for the appeal can be made by donating money directly to the charity of choice, donating in-date non-perishable food items or donating toys (unwrapped) – suitable for children under the age of 14. This year these organisations will be utilising Food Bank vouchers instead of distributing food hampers with all food donations being given to Food Bank for distribution.

Donations of toys or food (non-perishable) are now being gratefully accepted. Monetary donations or cash cards should be provided direct to the charity of choice, which can then provide you with a tax deductible receipt upon request. Donated goods can be dropped off at the offices of each charity indicated on or before Thursday 15 December 2022.

For more information, please contact Ranae at Salvation army on 0408 099 682 or Thanuja at ac.care on 8531 4900.
