  • Inflatable Donuts
  • Biggest Splash Competition
  • Free Sausage Sizzle (12–1pm)

In readiness for the swimming season launch, the water play park has been refreshed with a new paint job and upgraded outdoor flooring. The 48m Supaslide, four other water slides and other water play equipment are expected to be popular with families planning private parties and group events.

The Murray Bridge Swimming Centre features a heated Olympic size pool, medium size toddler pool, Water Play Park with five waterslides for children and toddlers, a 48m Supaslide, free gas barbeques and lush green lawns perfect for picnics and lawn games.

The centre offers regular classes and activities, including lap swimming, children and adult ‘Learn To Swim’ classes (including private lessons), aqua yoga and mums and bubs yoga. The main pool is equipped with an entry ramp, making it accessible and ideal for people with disability, restricted mobility or undergoing rehabilitation.

Regular events are also held at the Swimming Centre, with giant inflatable equipment days and more family-friendly fun planned for the end of the school year, Australia Day and Adelaide Cup Day.

The onsite cafe serves up barista-quality coffee, hot food, cold drinks and snacks. It’s also a go-to for swimming essentials, stocking goggles, swimming caps, earplugs, flotation devices and more.

Fees and charges have slightly changed this year – free entry remains to children under three and aged pensioners 65 years and over who live in the Rural City of Murray Bridge.

Enrolments for VACSWIM open on September 1 and lessons will be held from 19 to23 January 2026 at the Murray Bridge Swimming Centre.
