After a hiatus, this iconic event will once again transform Wharf Hill, Sturt Reserve into the ultimate destination for New Year’s Eve, featuring a magical night for families and friends to celebrate and enjoy a spectacular show of fireworks over the river.
Whether you’re enjoying the show from the riverbank, the water or among the crowd, Murray Bridge is the place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in style.

Time: From 6pm, Tuesday 31 December 2024
The festivities will kick-off at 6pm with a vibrant line-up of food trucks and music. The iconic Bridge will be illuminated from 7pm, setting the stage for the main event - a stunning display of fireworks, presented by Diamond Sponsor Gifford Hill and in partnership with Spry Civil Construction, lighting up the sky from 9pm.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, bridge and river closures will be in place during the fireworks. Please ensure pets are safely secured before the fireworks begin, as loud noises can be distressing for animals. The event is drug and alcohol-free, with dry zone restrictions in effect across Murray Bridge.
