Halloween at the Pool will be held 5pm until 8pm Saturday 29October, at the Murray Bridge Swimming Centre, in collaboration with The Station.
The SupaSlide and Water Play Park will be open late under lights, with a barbecue, face painting and Best Dressed Costume prizes part of the festivities planned, all against the backdrop of local live music.
Youth Development Officer Bridgette Syrus said the all ages event would showcase young musicians emerging through The Station’s Hip Hop Connect and Band Connections programs – along with other talented performers from Murray Bridge and Adelaide.
“Dress up in your scariest costume and help us celebrate the opening night of the Murray Bridge Swimming Centre,” she said.
“Bring your friends and family, and enjoy the magical sound of young musicians, performing live music with a spooky theme.”
Murray Bridge Swimming Centre Business Operations Manager Jarrod Manuel said all activities were available after entry on opening night and reminded visitors to book for the late session via council’s website murraybridge.sa.gov.au/pool.
“Halloween at the Pool will be a lot of fun and a great way to start the season,” he said.
“It will be the first of many events at the Swimming Centre this summer to make the most of this great community facility – stay tuned for more details as the season progresses.
“In the meantime, make sure you book online and come along to opening night.”
Halloween at the Pool is an alcohol free event – food and drinks will be available.
