INSPIRING ACHIEVERS HONOURED AT 2025 AWARDS CEREMONY
Council is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 International Day of People with Disability Recognition Awards, following a record number of nominations across both categories.
These awards recognise the outstanding achievements and contributions of people with disability, along with disability-friendly and accessible businesses, programs and organisations that are doing great things in our community for people with disability.
There are two categories:
- Individual - for individuals with disability achieving great things.
- Business/organisation - for businesses, organisations and programs supporting people with disability in our community.
The community celebration was held at Sturt Reserve on Friday 5 December, recognising exceptional personal achievements as well as businesses and organisations championing accessibility and inclusion in our community.

Business/Organisation Award – Winner: Muscle Cutz
