Applications now open for the Council Grants Program - September 2025 round!
The program supports a wide range of community initiatives, events, programs and infrastructure projects that contribute to the wellbeing and vibrancy of our region. Whether you’re a local group hosting a community celebration, a club upgrading facilities or an organisation planning a public event - the Council Grants Program brings together multiple funding streams to help turn your ideas into action.
This round includes the new Event Grants stream, designed to support organisations, businesses and community groups to deliver events that provide economic and community benefits to the region.
Applications close at 4.45pm on Friday 5 September 2025.
Funding is available across the following categories:
- General Community Grants
- Environmental Sustainability Grants
- Grants targeting Youth at Risk
- Event Grants (with three streams: Regional Events, Local Community Events, and Strategic Alignment Events)
Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the relevant grant guidelines to ensure they meet eligibility criteria. Previous grant recipients must acquit their previous funding before applying again.
Not sure which stream to apply for? Council staff are happy to help guide you through the options.
An information session will be held for prospective applicants to learn more, ask questions, and explore grant opportunities.
