Community groups, organisations and clubs are invited to apply for funds to help deliver community projects and events, in the latest round of Rural City of Murray Bridge Grants - now open.

Community groups, organisations and clubs are invited to apply for funds to help deliver community projects and events, in the latest round of Rural City of Murray Bridge Grants - now open.

Funding opportunities are offered twice a year and community groups are encouraged to apply for the current round of Community and Environment Grants closing 4.45pm Friday 3 March 2023.

A variety of grants are available for initiatives that benefit the community including:

  • Community Grants
  • Sport & Recreation Facility Grants
  • Environment Grants
  • Youth at Risk Grants
  • Riverfront Activation Grants

Community and Environment Grants are capped at $5,000 each, with the recipients required to match the amount dollar-for-dollar or in-kind.

Applicants must be incorporated or have the support of a suitable incorporated body to receive funds on the applicant’s behalf.

Previous grant recipients must acquit their last grant before applying for another.

An information session for prospective applicants to gather information, ask questions, and discuss opportunities for grant funding, will be held at 12 noon Thursday 15 February in the upstairs meeting room of the Performing Arts and Function Centre (Performing Arts and Function Centre (Town Hall)).
