Bridge Park Jam set to bring big energy to Sturt Reserve this weekend!
Being held on Saturday 9 May 2026 from 12-4pm, the Bridge Park Jam is rolling in for an afternoon of music, movement and good vibes. Bringing young people together for a free, youth‑led skate park takeover that celebrates creativity, progression and community.
The event is all about inclusivity, participation and local talent, keeping things fun and low‑pressure while still offering a friendly competition for those keen to give it a go. Riders can jump into relaxed jam‑style sessions, show off their best tricks and style and even score prizes for standout moments like Best Trick, Best Style and Jam MVP.
Young people are at the centre of the action, shaping the atmosphere and leading the way in creating a welcoming, inclusive space. Families and friends are encouraged to come along to the free event, soak up the music and support local riders as the park comes alive with colour, movement and creativity.
The event forms part of Council’s ongoing commitment to youth engagement by activating the skate park as a fun, inclusive space that empowers young people to get involved. With the aim to strengthen connections between young people and mentors by showcasing the talent and diversity of the local riding community.
With a focus on participation, expression and community pride, the Bridge Park Jam is set to be a highlight for young people looking for a fun, free and energetic way to spend their Saturday.
