Terms and Conditions

Pre-requisites: Your application will not be assessed UNTIL each of the following is satisfied

  • Evidence (Certificate of Currency) that the landowner and the contractor are insured for:
    • Public liability re the area (at least $20 million)
    • Loss / damage of its property upon the area (full replacement value)
    • Worker's compensation for its workers upon the area (if required by law) or private income protection insurance for those workers
  • Plans, drawings and/or specifications approved by Council
  • Work method approved by Council
  • JSEA or Risk plan approved by Council
  • Site control plan (addressing at a minimum; traffic management, storage of materials, temporary works, cleaning up, disposal of waste and controlling of stormwater) approved by Council
  • Dial Before You Dig results
  • Council is notified the name / email address / mobile telephone number of the site manager
