Council together with the Department of Infrastructure and Transport, Ngarrindjeri Aboriginal Corporation and McMahons will celebrate NAIDOC Week in Murray Bridge with the Bridge Walk, Awards Ceremony and Family Fun Day beginning from the east side of the road bridge on Monday 3 July at 9am with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.
The walk will flow through to the Local Government Centre (2 Seventh Street, Murray Bridge) for the NAIDOC Awards Ceremony at 10am.
The week will be full of activities to celebrate one of the oldest living culture.
