Volunteer Drivers support transport for the elderly in Murray Bridge.

Community Care is able to provide transport options for people over the age of 65 living in the Rural City of Murray Bridge Council area.

This program is made possible due to the ongoing support of volunteer drivers within our community.

Local Transport

Fortnightly essential shopping.

Trips to medical appointments.

Social (e.g. Senior Citizens meetings).

Transport within the Murray Bridge Township is conducted by volunteer drivers.

Out of Town Transport

Mount Barker (e.g. cataract procedures), Aldgate, Stirling and Strathalbyn Hospital.

Transport outside of the Murray Bridge Township is conducted by volunteer drivers.

Late appointments need to be discussed with Community Care Coordinators.

Adelaide Trips

Coorong Coaches Medical Bus offers transport to residents (criteria applies) who are unable to travel via regular transport for health reasons.

$23.00 round trip.

Reimbursement may be available at major public hospitals.

Appointment times must be between 11am and 2pm.

Wheelchair and gopher access available.

Transport for medical appointments in the Adelaide Region are coordinated through Murray Transport Connections.
