Tim brings a background in Information Technology (IT) to the Rural City of Murray Bridge, with formal IT qualifications in Network Engineering and a series of technology certifications. Tim also holds practitioner certifications and qualifications in Project Management and Change Management disciplines, and is a member of the Local Government Finance Managers Group.

As General Manager Corporate Services, Tim is responsible for the leadership and delivery of plans and programs across the areas of finance, procurement, organisational development, human resources, tourism, events, customer services, communications and information services.

Tim’s managerial leadership and change transformational roles within Local Government spans over 15 years, with experience gained from senior roles at the City of Playford, Renmark Paringa Council and the City of Mitcham Councils. These Councils cover a broad range in geography, size and demographics bolstering Tim’s experience in the sector.

As a Local Government sector professional, Tim has a reputation as a strong strategic leader, with the ability to cover the wide breadth of issues encountered in Local Government. Tim is renowned for bringing people together to deliver positive outcomes for the community whilst having the depth of knowledge to ensure complex issues are well understood and solutions are delivered in a sustainable way.

Tim’s appointment to the role of General Manager Corporate Services at the Rural City of Murray Bridge will allow him to showcase his focus on customer delivery combined with strong leadership and systems thinking to the organisation. Tim aim’s to utilise his extensive knowledge, skills and experience to further enhance the quality of services and customer experience for the broader Rural City of Murray Bridge community.
