PLACE OF COURAGE: Ripples Across SA

Artwork by CHEB

Murray Bridge is set to install a granite artwork serving as a permanent visible tribute to victims and survivors of domestic and family violence.

Place of Courage is a state-wide campaign driven by the Spirit of Woman organisation, using commemorative artworks to change the conversation around domestic violence through community education and cultural awareness.

Planned for a riverfront location at Sturt Reserve, the public artwork by CHEB Art will become a gathering point for the annual Domestic Violence (DV) Vigil and provide a quiet place of reflection while making a statement about the strength and resilience of victims and survivors of DV.

The project is a collaboration between the Murray Bridge Collaboration on Violence Against Women and Children (MBCVAWC), Spirit of Woman and The Rural City of Murray Bridge.
