Monarto

Home to the Monarto Safari Park the largest safari park outside of Adelaide. Just look out for the Rhino on the SE Freeway to show you the way to your excellent adventure.

If you are looking for other activities there are some easy walking bush trails and Monarto Woodlands on Browns Road is something of mecca for birdwatchers.  It has a high species count that includes many desirable species.

As for the town itself, most of the residents of Monarto run small hobby-like farms, raising cows, sheep and horses. Take a drive around the countryside on your way to your exciting day at the Safari Park!
