DAY ONE - Ready, Set, Go Holiday!

Arrive in Murray Bridge and visit the Visitor Information Centre to collect a free activity kit for children and get insider tips about the best attractions in the area.

Embark on the Murray Bridge Discovery Trail, which takes you through the town's fascinating history, starting at the tribute to the Ngarrindjeri people.

Highlights of the trail include the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery, the Round House, and Sturt Reserve, where you can take a stroll along the river and look out for the Bunyip.

Enjoy lunch at Sturt Reserve, then check into your accommodation and head to the Murray Bridge Swimming Centre and Splash Park for an afternoon of water fun. End the day with dinner at the Rivergum Restaurant at the Bridgeport Hotel.


DAY TWO – Go With the Flow

Enjoy the beautiful view of the river in the morning and listen to the sweet sound of birds singing. Fuel up for the day at McCues Bakery. Embark on the Water Discovery Trail down the river, either by hiring a kayak or indulging in a water sports experience.

Take in the breathtaking sights of wetlands lagoon and the native wildlife along the way. Stop at Hume Reserve, also known as Pomberuk, to learn about its cultural and spiritual significance.

After lunch on Captain Proud Paddle Boat Cruises, take advantage of the barbeques in the park and try to catch a Callop for supper. End the day with a stunning sunset and a blanket of stars.


DAY THREE  - Go Wild at Monarto Safari Park

Today is all about experiencing an African Safari adventure at the Monarto Safari Park, the largest open-range zoo in Australia. Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at Mystical Flair and browse their range of souvenirs and accessories.

The park is just a 10-minute drive from the outskirts of Murray Bridge and offers over 50 species of exotic and native mammals, birds, and reptiles. With an interactive app as your personal tour guide, you’ll have access to information about the zoo, its animals, and conservation work right at your fingertips.

After your exciting day of wildlife encounters, return to your accommodation for some relaxation before dinner. Head to Bridge Street and experience the flavours of India at Bombay Beats, an authentic Indian restaurant. Enjoy a culinary adventure and learn about the Tandoor, a vertical clay pot used to cook food with radiant and convection heat. DAY FOUR - Time to Go  Home

Today is your last day in Murray Bridge, but before you leave, make sure to visit the Swanport Wetlands. Located just off the South Eastern Freeway, this stunning sanctuary is home to a wide variety of native plants, birds, animals, and fish. Take a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk and immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere of this unique environment. Be sure to visit the bird hides, viewing platforms, and photo points to capture the beauty of this remarkable wetland.
