History Month

Mr Parker

Welcome to SA History Month in Murray Bridge

A celebration with a focus on the theme - 'Power'

Local history lovers are in for a treat with Free Entry to both The Round House and Captain’s Cottage every Thursday throughout May to celebrate History Month.

The theme for South Australia’s History Festival 2024 is ‘power’. Power means a lot of things, in a lot of places and spaces. There is power in science, power in art, power in the food we share and the clothes we wear. There is power in industry. There is power in storytelling. Above all, there is power in people.

Our History Month celebrations will include aone day event hosted at the Round House on Sunday 19 May between 11am and 3pm including free entry and tours as well as live music, gin tasting plus food and drinks available for purchase.
