Following the State Government Public Activities Direction - Operations at the Murray Bridge Town Hall at 13-17 Bridge Street, Murray Bridge, will recommence from Friday 29 June 2020.

The Town Hall will have staff available to take bookings during normal office hours, Monday to Friday.  Patrons should phone the Town Hall on 85391 430 in the first instance to talk to staff about making a booking and to arrange a face-to-face appointment if this is necessary.

Conditions apply to ensure the safety of our patrons and staff.

Visitors should not enter if they:

  • exhibit any symptoms indicative of COVID-19
  • have any known contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19

The number of people on site will be limited to 1 person per 2 square metres of publicly accessible space, with maximum numbers of patron at any one time in one room (excluding staff) determined by the size of the space. Current maximum numbers are as follows:

  • Main auditorium – 189 people
  • Foyer – 24 people
  • Level 1 (upstairs) Training Room – 15 people
  • Level 1 (upstairs) meeting room – 36 people
  • Green Room meeting room (downstairs) – 26 people
  • Male and Female Dressing Rooms – each 16 people
  • Assembly Room – 19 people

While these are the maximums allowed, the nature of the booking will determine the practical number allowed in order to maintain appropriate physical distancing. Town Hall staff will work with patrons and hirers to determine this.

A COVID-Safe Plan must be submitted by all individuals or organisations that own, operate or host Defined Public Activities as outlined by the Emergency Management (Public Activities No 3) (COVID-19) Direction 2020.

Please adhere to COVID-19 physical distancing requirements (1.5 metre rule).

Please maintain good hygiene and use hand sanitiser provided when entering and leaving the venue.

Cashless payments methods are preferred. The Box Office will be closed on the day of any performance. Tickets can be pre-purchased online or at Murray Bridge Regional Gallery during open hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 11am-4pm.

Records will be kept of all attendees at the site should future contact tracing be required. A cleaning regime is in place to ensure frequent environmental disinfection cleaning of the premises.
