Council invites expressions of interest for contractors and independent workers to be included on Council's Prequalified Contractors Register.

Subject to meeting pre-registration requirements, contractors and independent workers on the prequalified register will be used in the first instance for all works.

Prequalified Contractors

Do you have a qualification or trade and    would like to become a prequalified contractor for Council?

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is committed to proving a seamless delivery of services in line with the objectives outlined in Council's Strategic Plan.

As a component of this, the Council annually calls for submissions from contractors and independent works to be registered on the Prequalified Contractors Register.

The Prequalified Contractors Register has been formed to allow Council officers the flexibility to call on tradespeople, service providers and professionals in a timely manner without the need to ascertain the company's/person's credentials and insurance information.

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is now calling on all contractors within the region to become part of our Prequalified Contractors Register. Council is particularly interested in hearing from service providers, professionals and tradespeople, in the areas of painting, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, garden maintenance and property valuation services. However, the Council would also like to hear from any other parties in the vast array of fields that the Council interacts with on a daily basis.

This register is used by the administration and operations staff to gain access to a range of services that have been assessed and approved, giving Council the security that we are dealing with licensed persons/companies.

The Prequalified Registration Brief for Contractors & Suppliers and Consultants can be downloaded here or can be obtained by contacting the Contracts business unit on the number listed below.

All that is required is to fill in the registration brief, attach the relevant information and return all to Council. Part of the contractor questionnaire is to advise of what services you provide and the fees associated with those services. Council will then assess your information and those who meet Council's legislative criteria will be added to the register. Your details will need to be updated annually to ensure Council maintains current contact and insurance information.
