Murraylands Christmas Appeal
The Murraylands Christmas Appeal is once again rallying the community to come together and support those in need during the holiday season. The council is joining forces with ac.care, St. Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies) and the Salvation Army to collect donations of food and toys for those in need in our region.
The mentioned organisations will be utilising Food Bank vouchers to ensure efficient distribution. All food donations will be given to Food Bank for distribution.
Donations of toys or non-perishable food items are now being gratefully accepted. Monetary donations or cash cards should be provided directly to the charity of choice, which will provide a tax-deductible receipt upon request. Donated goods can be handed in at the offices of each charity, as indicated, on or before Thursday 16 November 2023.
