Location
The Monarto Sporting Complex is located on Schenscher Road at Monarto, near Monarto Zoo.
People visiting this site can exit the freeway at Monarto onto Ferris McDonald Road, follow Ferris McDonald Road through Monarto South and cross the Old Princes Highway to Schenscher Road. Alternatively access from Murray Bridge is easy simply by driving out on the Old Princes Highway, past the Monarto Zoo entrance and then right onto Schenscher Road.
Bookings
The general public is welcome to use the outdoor facilities at any time, however please note that various groups do regularly book the facilities for activities and events such as the Murray Valley Kennel Club, Southern Carriage Driving Society and Murraylands Multisports Inc.
The Monarto Sporting Complex can also be hired by the general public for private functions, events and meetings, however 18th and 21st birthday parties are excluded. Bookings are required in order to gain internal access and use of the hall and kitchen facilities. Please refer to the Schedule of Fees & Charges for current hire fees and bonds.
To hire the Monarto Sporting Complex please complete an Event Application Form and submit a hard copy to the Local Government Centre in person or mail to PO Box 421, MURRAY BRIDGE SA 5253. Forms can also be submitted electronically to the email address below.
Please read the following attachments prior to completing the application form, however please note that they refer mostly to large events and will not necessarily apply to all event types.
