Pomberuk/Hume Reserve has been a Ngarrindjeri place since time immemorial. Pomberuk has a deep spiritual, cultural and historicsignificance to the Ngarrindjeri people – past, present and future. Hume Reserve named after Hume Brothers, whose factory was on the site. They were world leaders in cement pipe construction in the 1920s.
