The Rural City of Murray Bridge is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, innovative, outcomes-driven person to undertake the role as Coordinator – Water and Waste Water within the Infrastructure and Environment Portfolio.
Position Overview
Councils Coordinator – Water and Waste Water will be responsible for management of Councils Storm Water Harvesting Scheme, Community Wastewater Management Schemes and Irrigation systems. The position will also contribute to cost effective asset maintenance plans and objectives through development, monitoring and review of water and waste water systems.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will have relevant industry qualifications and experience in delivering potable water, irrigation operations, CWMS Systems and storm water and treatment plant operations.
Experience in administrative practices and use of Microsoft Office packages, together with commitment and an excellent work ethic will assist the applicant to meet the main objectives of the position.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Leader – Open Space, responsibilities of the position include:
- Facilitate water and waste water asset infrastructure maintenance
- Ensure production of potable water and sewerage disposal is in accordance with legislative requirements
The successful applicant will demonstrate high level skills in communication, customer service, time management, problem solving along with the ability to work as part of a team.

The position is offered as a full time employment in accordance with the South Australian Municipal Salaried Officers Award and Council’s current Enterprise Agreement within an annual salary range of $101,206 to $108,080 dependent upon skills, knowledge and experience.
