By way of background, the construction and sealing of Ferries McDonald Road between Chauncey’s Line Road and just south of Bremer Range Road (some 12 km), provides a significant up-grade to the identified strategic north/south link for freight from Langhorne Creek to the Burra-Morgan Road, through the Barossa Valley.

This plan provides an outline of the North/South Corridor.

The project is expected to cost in the order of $5mil and be delivered over the next three to four years.  The project is jointly funded by the Federal Government and the Rural City of Murray Bridge.
