Murray Bridge Fringe

Murray Bridge fringe will return bigger and better in 2020 with an entire weekend of festivities now planned!

Murray Bridge Fringe will return bigger and better in 2020 with an entire weekend of festivities now planned, following the hugely successful festival debut earlier this year.

The free ‘Fringe on Sixth’ event which delighted audiences with a showcase of street theatre from Adelaide Fringe, will return from 5pm Saturday 29 February for four solid hours of fun and entertainment.

New free events are being planned for The Station on Friday 28 February and The Murray Bridge Library on Sunday 1 March.

The Murray Bridge Town Hall will be transformed into a Fringe venue for three days and nights from Friday February 28 until Sunday 1 March.

The pop up Fringe venue ‘The Hall’ has been made possible by an Adelaide Fringe venue grant awarded to Murray Bridge expat Connor Jolly, and will feature a program of children’s entertainment, circus, cabaret, magic, comedy and music.

“I’m hoping to bring a taste of what the Adelaide Fringe is all about though a diverse program of Fringe acts in the Murray Bridge Town Hall,” said Mr Jolly.

“There should be something for everyone.

“The aim behind the venue and Fringe program is to inspire the local community to get behind the Fringe and see the potential for the arts in Murray Bridge going forward.”
